Our annual Byway Tour moves into it’s fourth year and is getting better all the time, fingers crossed that the weather will be as perfect as it was in 2017.
This is a fundraising challenge for Bike Tours for the Wounded C.I.C with all of the proceeds from the registration fee (less the camping costs) going directly to the cause. We also encourage each participant to engage in fundraising through our Everydayhero fundraising platform.
The tour will move back to the Northern counties of the UK and will prove to be a challenge to all those taking part whether they are in the standard or progressive group.
We are very please to announce that Challenge 1 has sold out within days and due to popular demand we have repeated a second Byway Challenge in late September.

Challenge 1 – 30th June – 8th July Now Fully Booked
Challenge 2 – 22nd September – 30th September Now Taking Bookings.
Details of the Byway Challenge
Our byway tour starts with a BBQ. Its a great way for all those taking part and the Bike Tours For The Wounded support team to mix and get to know each other. On the Saturday evening at the campsite before we set of on our Byway adventure. Each day’s route has been carefully selected by our team and the support of the Trail Riders Fellowship (TRF) members. They have selected the best routes that are available in their local areas. We ride in small groups based on rider experience and the difficulty of the route. The following Saturday finishes with a BBQ and a few beers to reminisce on our stories of a week on the trails. This is an amazing 7 days of green lane / byway riding so if you think this is for you register now as places are limited.
Total Costs: £495 which includes a £195 non refundable registration fee to secure a place.
The extra £300 is raised though individual fund raising efforts. We will support you in this with ideas and setting up an online fund raising page to help you achieve your goal. Final payment deadline is the 1st March 2017, any short fall in fund raising will need to be covered by the rider.
